Venue
The Beach & City Venue
The event will take place in two different venues. Technical Race and Team Relay will take place at our beach venue; Amager Strandpark, which is located just 5 km. from the city centre and Copenhagen Airport. Longdistance and Sprint races will take place at our City Venue; Søren Kierkegaards Plads, which is close to the parlament building and the central part of Copenhagen.
Both venues are magical places and will make sure that you get the beach and urban vibes of Copenhagen at the same time. It's easy to get around by public transport (metro and busses) or by using a bike.
City venue
The city venue is located at Sørens Kierkegaards Plads and will be the heart of the action! This iconic square will be the starting point for thrilling sprint races, challenging long-distance events and the debut of our new mass participation event Copenhagen SUP.
Beach venue
Amager Beach Park, the largest beach in Copenhagen, with its serene lagoon and beautiful city park, just five kilometers from the city centre, sets the perfect scene for the Technical Race and Relay events. Paddling with the stunning Øresund Bridge in the background will add an extra layer of awe to the competition.
